BACKIN GAME INSTRUCTIONS

🎯 OBJECTIVE

Your mission: stay inside the circle and keep your flag attached—while pulling off everyone else’s! The last player inside the circle with their flag on wins the game.

Perfect for 2 to 6 players, but for even bigger, more exhilarating fun, combine 2 or more Backin sets to expand the circle and double (or triple!) the excitement!

🚩 GAME SETUP

• Choose your arena!
  Indoors or outdoors—any flat, open space works. Clear the area of obstacles so players can dash, dodge, and snatch safely.
  
  
• Build your battle circle.
  Lay the rope on the ground in a large circle. Make sure it’s roomy enough for all players to move freely inside and outside the boundary.
  
  
• Gear up.
  Each player puts on a belt with the flag positioned on the left side, hanging downward and clearly visible.
  
  
  
  
• Take your positions!
  All players begin inside the circle, spaced evenly apart.

⚙️ GAMEPLAY RULES

🏆 How to Win

The last player inside the circle with their flag still on wins
Simple, right? 😉

If the last two remaining players pull each other’s flags at the same time — reset the flags and replay the final showdown!

🔥 RULES INSIDE THE CIRCLE

While inside the circle:

• Your goal is to pull other players’ flags while protecting your own—but no guarding allowed!
  ❌ No covering your flag (it should be visible at all times)
  ❌ No blocking with your hand
  
  If you guard your flag, you must immediately exit the circle and continue to play from the outside (rules on next page)
  
  
• Stay inside the boundary.
  If you step outside, you must leave the circle and resume gameplay from the outside.
  
  
• If you successfully pull someone’s flag, drop it immediately.
  
  
• If your flag is pulled, grab it, exit the circle, reattach it, and rejoin the battle from the outside.

💥 RULES OUTSIDE THE CIRCLE

Being outside doesn’t mean you’re out—you're just on a BACK-IN mission!

• Once your flag is reattached, you can try to earn your way back inside by pulling the flag of a player who is inside the circle.
  
  
• Players outside the boundary cannot step into the circle or touch the ground inside the circle while going for a flag.
  
  If, while attempting to pull a flag, you touch the ground inside the circle:
  
  
  • You must exit the circle and wait 10 seconds before playing again from outside the circle.
    
    
  • If a flag was pulled, the inside player can quickly reattach their flag and continue competing.

📏 ADDITIONAL RULES

• No pushing, shoving, tackling, or rough play. Only the flag can be grabbed.
  
  
• Practice good sportsmanship—cheering encouraged, friendly banter optional 😉
  
  
• Safety first: keep the area clear, stay aware of other players, and use all equipment only as intended.

🌀 GAME VARIATIONS

Spice things up with fun twists:

• ⏱ Time Challenge: If no winner emerges after the set time, the player or team with the most flags pulled wins!
  
  
• 🔁 Smaller Circle, Bigger Challenge: Shrink the circle or add more players for more intensity.
  
  
• 🏅 Team Mode: Form teams by flag color. The last team with a flag inside the circle wins!
  
  
• 🖐 One-Hand Challenge: Only use your right hand… or left. Choose your restriction!
